How do I begin?
Email me your documents.
Include any relevant details or information needed. (Do you just want proofreading? Or editing done as well?)
Include a phone number where I can reach you with questions that may arise.
If you would like me to make the corrections for you, send an editable file (Word, GDocs, or Pages).
If you want to make the corrections yourself, I’ll outline any corrections and recommendations through email.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading is the final stage before publication, addressing typos, punctuation errors, and formatting inconsistencies. (Every document needs proofreading.)
Editing is a comprehensive process that improves a document’s overall structure, style, and consistency. (New documents especially need thorough editing!)
What is the cost?
$30/hour with a minimum $30 charge per document.
Do you accept academic papers and larger works (e.g. periodicals, books)?
Not at this time. We cater primarily to businesses (letters, flyers, brochures, etc.) and individuals (resumes, cover letters, etc.).
